RESULT

As the Lead Product Designer, I led the transformation of a legacy B2B web application into a modern, scalable platform through a full UX/UI redesign and the development of a modular design system. This system became the foundation for product consistency, delivery speed, and long-term maintainability, enabling both design and engineering teams to scale with confidence.

The new experience was purposefully designed for underwriters and agents, balancing modern UI patterns with the clarity required for complex workflows. The result was a platform that felt both contemporary and enduring, reducing cognitive load and significantly improving daily efficiency for users.

The redesign delivered tangible business impact, including a measurable increase in user engagement, streamlined task flows, and strong internal and external feedback. Beyond improving usability, this work reinforced the product’s strategic value in a highly competitive fintech landscape.

RESPONSIBILITIES

At this fast-scaling fintech startup, I led the responsive redesign of the core web platform, enhancing the visual language, simplifying interactions, and introducing new analytics capabilities to support better decision-making for underwriting teams.

Working directly with the CEO, I ensured product design was fully aligned with business strategy, supporting both long-term vision and short-term goals. I collaborated closely with engineering, delivering detailed UX annotations, building a UI style guide, and conducting rigorous QA to ensure design fidelity through implementation.

My work elevated both the functional and aesthetic quality of the platform, while establishing systemised, scalable design practices that set the foundation for sustainable product growth.
