Pupil
Pupil is a spatial technology company that transforms physical spaces into precise digital replicas. Specializing in property mapping and the creation of immersive VR assets, Pupil empowers the real estate industry with accurate, scalable digital solutions for marketing, analysis, and decision-making.
RESULT
At Pupil, I led high-impact design initiatives that improved operational efficiency and elevated external engagement across the business. A key achievement was the redesign of Pupil’s internal VR asset management and editing tools, along with the development of a new software platform for managing property bookings and assets digitisation workflows. Together, these systems enabled the internal teams to deliver complete asset packages within 24 hours, a critical milestone for scaling operations.
This transformation streamlined complex workflows, increased delivery speed, and reduced errors across departments, creating a scalable foundation for future growth.
In parallel, I led the full redesign of Pupil’s B2B marketing site, repositioning it to better serve agents, developers, and investors across the property sector. By elevating the information architecture, visual hierarchy, and messaging, I strengthened product visibility and enhanced the overall brand perception.
These outcomes demonstrated my ability to define and deliver cross-functional design strategy, drive measurable impact, and shape product experiences that support long-term business growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In my leadership role at this high-growth virtual reality startup, I directed the full redesign of internal tools used to manage and edit spatial assets, and co-developed a new software solution to manage property bookings and digitisation workflows.
I led user research and workflow mapping across roles, including technicians, editors, and operations staff, to ensure both tools supported efficiency, clarity, and scale. A key challenge was designing for large-scale data handling while accommodating the nuanced needs of a multi-disciplinary team, from engineers and creatives to data specialists.
I worked closely with product, operations, and engineering stakeholders to align the tools with delivery goals and platform strategy. I also ensured that design decisions balanced technical feasibility, usability, and long-term business objectives, contributing to the maturity of both product and design function during a rapid growth phase.
