OVERVIEW

Pupil is a spatial technology company that converts physical environments into high-precision digital replicas used across property marketing, analysis, and investment decision-making.

During a rapid growth phase, I led the redesign of Pupil’s internal spatial asset production platform, transforming fragmented editing, booking, and delivery workflows into a coordinated system capable of supporting 24-hour turnaround of complete VR-ready property asset packages.

The work focused on aligning technicians, editors, and operations teams around a scalable workflow architecture that improved delivery speed, reduced production errors, and established a foundation for platform expansion as demand increased.

Alongside internal tooling transformation, I led the redesign of Pupil’s B2B marketing platform to better communicate product value to agents, developers, and investors, ensuring external positioning reflected the maturity and capability of the production system behind it.

Together, these initiatives strengthened both operational throughput and commercial clarity, supporting the company’s transition from early-stage tooling to a scalable spatial asset platform.

APPROACH

I led the redesign of Pupil’s internal spatial asset tooling as a production-system challenge rather than a feature-level interface improvement.

The work began with workflow mapping across technicians, editors, and operations teams to identify bottlenecks in asset capture, editing coordination, and delivery sequencing. This revealed fragmentation between booking workflows, spatial data processing, and asset packaging pipelines that limited delivery speed and scalability.

Based on these insights, I defined a unified workflow architecture connecting property bookings, spatial capture, asset editing, and final package delivery into a coordinated production environment supporting parallel team activity.

I worked closely with engineering, operations, and product stakeholders to ensure solutions balanced usability with the technical realities of large-scale spatial data processing. This alignment ensured the redesigned tooling supported both immediate operational efficiency and long-term platform evolution.

In parallel, I led the redesign of the B2B marketing site to align external messaging with the capabilities of the redesigned production platform, improving clarity for agents, developers, and investors evaluating spatial asset services at scale.

User validation and iterative prototyping ensured the resulting systems supported real production behaviour rather than idealised workflows, enabling confident adoption across internal teams.
